Helping mothers understand their birth stories and
navigate postpartum with clarity and peace.
A Calm Place to Understand Your Birth Story—and Beyond
Birth is one of the most significant experiences in a woman's life.
And yet, many mothers leave their birth with unanswered questions- or a quiet sense that something wasn’t quite right.
You may find yourself replaying moments, wondering what happened, or wishing someone had explained things differently.
And for many mothers, those questions don’t end after birth.
The postpartum season can bring its own unexpected challenges—physical recovery, emotional overwhelm, identity shifts, or simply the weight of navigating a new season without enough support.
Fiat Birth Collective was created to offer a space where you can feel seen, supported, and gently guided—as you process your birth story, navigate postpartum, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence and peace.
Meet Sarah
I’m Sarah—a registered nurse, mother of nine, and the heart behind Fiat Birth Collective.
For years, I have walked alongside women in some of life’s most vulnerable seasons through both labor & delivery, postpartum and hospice nursing. Again and again, I’ve seen the deep need women carry not only for physical care, but for emotional support, thoughtful preparation, and compassionate space to process life-changing experiences.
As a mother, nurse, and woman of faith, I understand that birth and postpartum are more than medical events — they are deeply personal transitions that can shape how a mother sees herself, her story, and her journey forward.
Fiat Birth Collective was created from a desire to support mothers more fully: to help women reflect on their birth experiences, prepare for postpartum with intention, and find peace in the transition into motherhood.
Whether you are processing a difficult birth, preparing for the emotional and practical realities of postpartum, or simply longing for support that honors both your story and your future, my mission is to walk with you with compassion, clarity and care.
Through birth reflection, postpartum preparation, and supportive guidance, Fiat Birth Collective exists to help mothers move forward feeling seen, supported, and restored.
You do not have to carry unanswered questions, fear, or overwhelm alone.
I’m honored to hold space for your story.
What I Believe
I believe that every mother’s story matters.
I believe that understanding what happened during your birth can bring a deep sense of clarity and peace.
I believe that mothers deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported- not only during birth, but throughout postpartum and the transition into motherhood.
I believe that preparation, reflection, and compassionate support can profoundly shape how a woman experiences both birth and life after it.
And I believe that even when things don’t go as expected, there is space for understanding, healing, and moving forward with peace.
What You Can Expect
Through Birth Reflection Sessions, I offer a calm and compassionate support for both birth reflection and postpartum preparation and support — creating space for you to process your story, prepare for what’s ahead, and move forward with greater clarity and peace.
Whether through Birth Reflection Sessions or Postpartum Planning and Support, you can expect a thoughtful space to:
Walk through your birth experience or current concerns step by step
Better understand your birth, recovery, and postpartum transition with clarity
Process lingering questions, emotions, or unexpected experiences
Prepare practically and emotionally for postpartum challenges and motherhood shifts
Gain confidence, support, and peace as you move forward
This is not a clinical appointment, therapy appointment or medical consultation.
It is compassionate, informed support — grounded in knowledge, guided by empathy and experience, and centered on your unique story, needs, and season of motherhood.
A Note on Faith
The name Fiat comes from the Blessed Virgin Mary’s response:
“Let it be done to me according to your word.”
For many mothers, birth is a moment that calls for that same trust - a surrender to something greater than ourselves.
At Fiat Birth Collective, each story is approached with dignity and reverence. For those who desire it, sessions may gently incorporate a faith-based perspective rooted in trust, reflection, and peace.
